Ray Thomas - Moody Blues

Post by CaptainVague » Tue Jan 09, 2018 4:45 pm

I just heard that Ray Thomas, founding member of the Moody Blues, passed away on January 4th at the age of 76. The Moody Blues are finally getting inducted to the R&R Hall of Fame in April. R.I.P., his flute solo on "Nights in White Satin" will live on forever. :(

I hadn't heard this sad news. I was always a big fan of the group. Ray Thomas was fine musician/singer and I was a fan of his songwriting.

Here's Ray Thomas' obit from the NY Times if anyone wants to take a look.
