Many Thanks for the Info, BenCovington. I Had investigated Jackie Kelso some years ago, initially, due to his involvement in a record with a west coast doo wop group. I know Gerald wilson from many Jazz recordings. The only John Collins and Lee Young I know of (in music) are the guitarist and drummer respectively from Nat "King" cole's band in the 1950's. Lee Young was also the younger brother of Tenor great Lester Young. Do you know if these are the same Collins and Young appearing on this LP? Interesting that Collins would be playing bass (I only know him as a guitarist.) Also interesting as Lee Young is listed as "Producer".

Would you believe it? A good blues record from the local record fair:
Snooky Pryor: "Snooky", Blind Pig 2387.
Snooky's always been a favourite of mine and this LP from the mid 1980s is a good un too. Top sidemen as well: Steve Freund, guitar; Bob Stroger, bass; Willie Smith, drums.
