Beethoven Eroica LP Error

Post by howard16 » Fri Nov 07, 2014 12:20 am

In my collection, I just discovered that the LP Vox Turnabout TV4343 I own, (Wilhelm Furtwangler's 1944 performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 3), incorrectly lists the orchestra as the Berlin Philharmonic rather than the Vienna. This error is repeated , both on the album cover and the record label itself.

This recording was later reissued with the correct orchestra on the cover and the label.

How could I find out if this pressing has any unusual value due to the errors?

That one is not listed among his most expensive auction results.
