Their first single on Magic Lamp under Karen's name is very collectible.

Big B, The Carpenters were a pop duo who had more sales than The Doors, or Johnny Cash for that matter. They had a string of huge hits in the 70's many of which I know you have heard. This was their debut LP from 1969 and it barely cracked the Billboard 200. They hit #1 with "Close To You" (Herb Alpert's suggestion) in 1970 and the LP was re-released as "Ticket To Ride" later that year internationally and made to top 20 in the UK. Copies of the original "Offering" are very hard to find. :D
