Multi-Label Discography

Post by jackcapture » Sat Jan 03, 2009 5:08 am

After checking with the other mods, we seem to agree on bending the standard set by Cutter in the guidelines, namely, including a discography link.
This has many labels including majors, budgets, and obscurities. It appears to be a work in progress so I'm sure many of us can contribute much to this one.

Goldmine puts it at $125 - $500, Osborne puts it at $100 - $300. Kaos puts it on a turntable...cuz that's where the REAL value is! --Kaos

It's an odd lay-out, that one. In terms of breadth of coverage, and sheer usability, it could take some pointers from Global Dog's' site, http://www.globaldogproductions.info/.

Yes, Global Dog definitely has an awesome site--I have perused it a couple of times before. 8)

Paisley Haze has listings for many small, mostly indie* Northeastern USA labels, though I have not been able to find a direct link to the index page from their main page.

There is also this site: http://www.45rpmrecords.com/ -- 45 RPM Records of The Ohio River Valley -- with links to other specialist discographies, including by mfr.

You might try this discography set. The guy's been doing this for over 30 years.
