1977 Elvis left us and 22 years later (1999) Presley Music/Shalimar Music (BMI) started to release all these Follow That Dream (FTD) releases. Almost all at vinyl. Today 2018 they have released almost a couple of hundred releases and it seems we will never see the end.
Do you buy (all) these releases?
Here is a (not complete) list of all releases:

- The answer is really simple for me, nope! I don't buy any of the Elvis reissues, because I don't belong the people who dig his music! Sorry, but I wanted to be honest.
In my humble opinion the real "King of Rock 'n' Roll" died last year (2018-03-18) - Mr. Chuck Berry. May he rest in peace!

I really think Elvis is one of the greatest male rock singers in the world. But there is only three "sad things" about Elvis.
1. he never left America for performace in Europe or in rest of the world.
2. he recorded more than 700 songs but he didn't wrote one single song.
3. he died to early .
I really like Chuck Berry too. Here in Sweden we call him "Chucken".

I liked Elvis as a kid, and actually, I still dig him quite a bit.
I don't have much on cd, but I've picked up records from time to time.
I'm thankful I don't collect him. There's way too much to try and gather together.

I believe Elvis wrote "Love Me Tender" and maybe one other song, but he was very involved on the arrangements. I understand that he spent all day in the recording studio until he got "Hound Dog" the way he wanted it.
Anyone who thinks he has a foolproof plan hasn't counted on the ingenuity of fools.
