tearfund 7"

i have a strange single with the word tearfund and the address 30 draycott place london. it has a person talking on it from a country outside europe. so does anyone know anything else about this record or anything to do with the address

If he's talking about religion or missionary work or disaster relief, it could be related to the UK christian charity group called "Tearfund". Just a guess.

How old is it? If it's random chatter or an audio-letter type of thing, it could be home recorded or from one of those "Make Your Own Record" novelty booths that were so popular in the 60's and early 70's.

Nice little mystery you got there. I always like random findings like that :)

this is who has done the record The Evangelical Churches Relief Fund and the thing on the record is called tearfund

Sounds like it could've come from these guys, they've been around for a long time. Maybe an email with photo and they could give you a definite answer:

Edit: Definitely sounds like these guys, punched 'em up in the ol' Wikitiki, and it says:
"The charity was created out of the Evangelical Alliance (EA) and the Evangelical Refugee Fund created by the United Nations. Tearfund's original name was The Evangelical Alliance Relief Fund Committee."
