Capitol Help! / I'm Down 45

Post by brioma33 » Sun Aug 03, 2014 2:58 pm

I have the Capitol 45 rpm Help!/I'm Down. It's not the best condition but still plays great and I wanted to know how rare it is & what it's approximate value would be. I'm not looking to sell this, but I am curious. Both sides of the single have the label "I'm Down" but the side that has damage from a sticker removal plays Help. The sticker might have identified that side as side one at some time, I don't know. When the sticker was removed it tore the label slightly. This is a Scranton, Pa pressing. I don't think that there could be that many out there with this label screw up & I just think it is one of those neat little finds I ran across.

Label goofs like that are extremely common.

In the condition that it appears to be in, don't expect more than a few dollars.

Even this error, which is much more interesting, only went for $17.

Thanks Frank.
I was curious because I had never seen anything like this before.
