yet another "introducing the beatles" question

Post by RAMcoll » Sat May 31, 2014 10:41 pm

I have a counterfeit copy of "Introducing...THE BEATLES' (has some of the common clues, like it says STEREOPHONIC on the cover, but the disc is mono). My question is, are counterfeits that actually have Love Me Do and P.S. I Love You on the disc somewhat rare themselves? That is, is it fairly easy to find discs that have those songs on them? I think I found this at a cut-out type price (maybe in the 70s), though the cover is not marked as a cut-out.

Thanks

No, they are not rare. They are more common as fakes than as genuine copies of the record...and the genuine record sold over 1,300,000 copies.

Some fakes have the other songs on them, but from about 1974 to 1990 most fakes have LMD and PSILY.
