From Liverpool Box Set

Post by sandell » Mon Apr 14, 2014 5:01 pm

Hello, I have a basic mint "From Liverpool, the Beatles Box Set" (Parlophone sm 707) but on the front cover is " Das Beste aus Readers Digest"--does this make it more valuable? Thanks

The Beatles Box was an 8-record set that was available through various outlets via the World Record Club. There are no commercial copies -- only record-club copies.
Readers' Digest was one of the outlets through which the set was available. The LP set from 1980-1982 is more valuable than the later cassettes, but that's about it.
The set usually sells for between $80 and $125.
