Different Way of Fixing a Warped Record

Post by RidinTheWind » Thu Mar 08, 2012 7:24 pm

While looking something up in an old household hints book, I ran across this fix.

It says to put the record under a high intensity infrared lamp for five minutes. The record (supposedly) will flatten itself or can be pressed down gently.

The other method mentioned is the old 2 sheets of glass under the sun.

I need to get a warped record first to give it a try. So, I guess someone else will have to be a test case.

Just thought I'd pass it on.
