just in the middle...

Post by ShadySam » Sun Jun 14, 2009 3:06 pm

Mercifully I've only run across one or two in my collection, but what exactly causes an album
to get a small warp right in the middle? Like 1" or thereabouts? Any thoughts/opinions appreciated

~bump~
I encounter this flaw much more w/45's, but what causes that blemish right in the middle of an LP?

I take it you mean a one inch bump on the LP, not extending around in a band?

My guess is that the stamper was opened too soon, pulling up a bump.
