  • I've succumbed to temptation, when I saw a Françoise Hardy 7" E.P., that I don't own in my rather big collection of her E.P.s, so bought it on 'ebay' for a rather neat price.

    • 'Le Crabe' / 'Tu Ressembles A Tous Ceux Qui Ont Eu Du Chagrin' - 'Assiette Niet' / 'Un Petit Sourire, Un Petit Mot'

The most amazing about this little gem, after I washed it, it turned out to be in 'NM' condition!
By the way, she was the first female singer I fell in love with at the tender age of 13 in 1964!

It's so genuine, so faithful and cool. I honestly forgot what a great indie pop gem this E.P. really is . . .

I picked up one of her EP's about a month and a half ago, though no picture sleeve. I still have to clean it off and play it. Several years ago, I did pick up a single, her cover of Perry Como's "Catch a Falling Star". It's quite good.
Anyone who thinks he has a foolproof plan hasn't counted on the ingenuity of fools.

Nice

Picked up a copy of their double LP ' #7885 (Electropunk To Technopop 1978 – 1985)' last month and it has this track on it - good album as well, i remembered more tracks than i thought i would :D
My site on 45Worlds, trying to catalog those dodgy cassettes that used to appear everywhere. Mainly because I find them a bit interesting and a little time capsule before they went legal

  • I started cataloging the letter "D" yesterday and detected some really nice 7" singles and E.P.s that I listened to as a kid. I was allowed to listen to a radio show at the tender age of 10 or so show before I had to sleep . . .
Here's one of these songs which I know for 56 years now! Gosh! How time has flown by . . . . Image

    A-side:
    • 'Je L'Attends (King Of Clowns)' / 'Que Sont Devenues Les Fleurs (Where Have All The Flowers Gone)'
    B-side:
    • 'Le Jour Le Plus Long' / 'Petit Éléphant Twist (Baby Elephant Walk)'

    • Dalida . (FR Barclay - 70 471, 1962)
