  • As I'm a fan of Brian Eno since I've heard the first 'Roxy Music', 7" single 'Virginia Plain' in 1972. I tried to track down all of his releases, that I was able to get, here's one of my very faves:

    • 'Baby's on Fire' / 'Fever'' - Eno . (UK Muzak ‎– EN 01, 1975) 7" E.P., 33 ⅓ RPM, unofficial release (whatever this may mean)

He first released this song on his album 'Here Come The Warm Jets' in 1973, but the version on this single is a completely different mix, that I love much more than the album version. . Image

Both tracks taken from a BBC Radio 1 John Peel session, recorded 26th March 1974

A taster for the interested! . Image

  • Working on my singles, filing, catalog them into my data-base, including "play-grading" and cover scans! It's rather time consuming, but it's also fun . . . I decided to share a little really scarce gem with you:

    • 'A Question of Temperature' - The Balloon Farm . (US Laurie - LR 3405, 1967)

These are absolute "keepers", though at least the German copy seems to be a real "biggie", worth a lot of €€ . Image

Of course an audio clip for you . . . . Image

"Question of Temperature" is all I've ever heard by the Balloon Farm, but it's a classic! Cool pic sleeve there.

  • So many 7" singles in the "B" section. I haven't finished yet.
Here's one more gem, that I want to share with you.

    • 'Johnny B. Goode' - Chuck Berry (R.I.P.) . (DE Bellaphon - BF 18108, 1972)

      • . Image

        . Image

One of his very biggest hits, that each "guitarrero" has covered. Nevertheless non of 'em did it as good . . .
as the genuine "King of Rock 'n' Roll"!!
    . Image
Sure, an audio clip for all of you . . . 😎
